This journal publishes articles based on both field research and library-based studies in the field of Islamic education. Its scope includes Islamic education; education in dayah/pesantren (Islamic boarding schools); education in madrasah (Islamic schools); Islamic education and gender; transformative and multicultural Islamic education; Islamic education management; philosophy of Islamic education; Islamic education policy; curriculum; teaching and learning in Islamic education; values and character education; teacher education; and other topics related to Islamic education. Articles are accepted in both English and Indonesian.
