
About the Journal
Islamic Education Reviews (IER) is a peer‑reviewed, open‑access scholarly journal managed and published by At Taawun Bangun Bangsa. IER is published twice times a year (January–June and July–December), with a minimum of five articles per issue. The journal accepts articles based on field research and library‑based studies in Islamic education. Its scope includes Islamic education; education in dayah/pesantren (Islamic boarding schools); education in madrasah (Islamic schools); Islamic education and gender; transformative and multicultural Islamic education; Islamic education management; philosophy of Islamic education; Islamic education policy; curriculum; teaching and learning in Islamic education; values and character education; teacher education; and other topics related to Islamic education. Articles are accepted in both English and Indonesian.
