FOCUS AND SCOPE

JOSIS aims to facilitate the publication of articles in the fields of social sciences and Islamic studies. The journal is committed to advancing scientific theories that have a profound global impact, particularly in Asia. The focus and scope of JOSIS include the following:

1.   Cluster of Social Sciences, including:

1. Social Sciences Sub-cluster: Education, communication studies, journalism, psychology, public relations, social welfare studies, sociology, anthropology, demography, and others.

2.   Political Sciences Sub-cluster: Political science, international relations, administrative sciences (business, state, public, development), governance studies, socio-political sciences, public policy, and others.

2.   Cluster of Islamic Studies, including:

  1.       Islamic Education.
  2.       Islamic Law.
  3.       Islamic Philosophy.
  4.       Islamic Theology (Kalam).
  5.       Islamic Mysticism (Tasauf)
  6.       Islamic Communication and Propogation (Dakwah).
  7.       Islamic Politics, and 
  8.       Al-Qur'an and Hadith.

 This journal promotes the submission of articles that apply a multidiciplinary approach to these topic and invites researchers from various countries to submit their work to JOSIS though the Open Journal System.
